the vehicle , now 10 days later he says the has a lots of problems and wants his money back , old car with 150 miles on it.. any one know what i have to do..

Answer:
As long as you sold it as-is and signed the title over to him and with the DMV, it's his problem now. He should have asked to have a mechanic inspect it before handing over the money. But if you advertised it as in perfect or excellent condition, he may try to take you to small claims for leading him to believe there were no problems.

I sold a car last year with 200,000 miles on it. We took it to his mechanic and mine - we agreed on what the problems were and established a price based on what we knew. It was in pretty darned good condition and mostly needed new brakes.

Answer:
if you did not gave any warranty there's no reason why u should accept the car back when he took it and had it for 10 days

Answer:
Private sales of cars are as is.

Answer:
he could have insurance on another car. most policies allow you to buy a car and drive for a period while covered. his problem eventually.

if he has an accident, and no registration or insurance, you could be liable as "owner" of the car.

go to the dmv and file a notice of transfer for the vehicle. it will remove you from liability.

on the money back issue, he bought it as is where is. tell him the sell is fini.

Answer:
i'd tell him a deal is a deal… he had it for 10 days he should of said somin the 1st day

Answer:
You don't have to do anything. He bought the car as-is. Ignore any threats of legal action he may try against you. He has no case.
