Probably the "police" bits were stripped off and it was flogged off like any other. Hardly a collectors' piece, just a standard landy with some film props stuck on.

They used to film a police series around here and I know that afterwards the "police" cars were stripped off, some went to auction and some of the film crew bought 'em as ordinary runabouts. All the markings etc are just stick-on which come off easily so the cars can be returned to anonymous spec.

Answer:
Probably went back to the supplier. There are companies who specialise in supplying props for film and TV. It has possibly been seen in several programmes since with a different paint job.
