I'm buying a car to use on for commuting and for long journeys on the motorway, and have a choice to make between the new Fiat 500 Pop and the new BMW 1 series… I can afford both as far as payments go, as they are more or less the same, but insurance and road tax combined are roughly £250 more for the BMW. I', stuck, both are cars I like, but which is ideal for the kind of journey I'm speaking about? And which loses value quickest? Advice please!
Answer:
BMW any day. You need a longer wheelbase for soaking up bumps on a motorway and the suspension setup on the BMW is better anyway.
Answer:
The Fiat is an upholstered matchbox suited only to city driving. The beemer is a nice automobile, very reliable but even it is too small for motorway driving though better than the Fiat. You need a vehicle with a long wheel-base to smooth out the ride.Mondeo size would be more enjoy it.
Answer:
if you are buying a 500 for use as a regular commuter vehicle, the 100bhp 1.4-litre petrol or ultra-frugal 1.3-litre Multijet will be ideal bets.
Answer:
I would think the BMW would be the better automobile to drive on motorways and I would prefer the booted version or the coupe style 1 series.
Answer:
they’re both tiny cars but since you cant get a more exoesive one i would go with the beemer. It is more comfertable longer lasting superior resale and it is probably better made engine wise.
Answer:
in a long journey you DO NOT want a small automobile… it will rattle a lot… make lots of noise… uncomfortable…
BMW is smoother and its a ride… plus it looks the part
Answer:
I'm no expert on automobiles, but surely BMW beats Fiat hands down everytime!
Answer:
the fiat 500 is the best automobile in the world at the moment
Answer:
BMW, hands down will beat a Fiat any day of the week, also BMW will keep it's price
Answer:
both are a tiny too small for motorway driving in my view
Answer:
BMW would be ideal choice. I just like them better.
Answer:
BMW is the one i would go with
Answer:
BMW 120d would be my choice Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
