i dont know the year of it but my uncles friend is selling one for $4000

he repairs them and he put new tires on it and everything

i was wondering if they are reliable automobiles

Answer:
Kia are great vehicles, you’ve to make sure the people before you took care of it. I would go out on a limb and state that it is on par with the “best” American offerings and “as good” as Japanese vehicles. I have a 2004 Kia Optima and have owned: 2003 Chevy Cavalier, 2004 VW Jetta, 2006 Toyota Sienna, 1994 Honda Accord, 1998 Olds Achieva, 1988 Toyota Corolla, 1982 Chevy Citation, 1978 Chevy C20 van, 1977 Chevy Caprice Classic, and 1984 Ford Tempo.

Answer:
The Kia Spectra receives an overall “average” rating from Consumer Reports for reliability. Paint/trim is a weak point and there are other scattered issues depending on the year. For major systems like engine and transmission it has a better than average or good rating depending on the year.

Because of high depreciation, it isn’t a good buy as a new vehicle but the high initial depreciation makes it a good value as a used car.

Depending on the trim level and options it should hit the $4000 price point for the '03 model year. You can check the market price at edmunds.com under their used car heading. You should also get a Carfax and an independent mechanical inspection before you buy.

Good luck.

Answer:
I heard they're reliable,my folks just purchased a saturn, and this is the way they look at it,if it's junk they have the ability to sell it,so if thats what you want go for it,i mean we have to live and learn, and remember if it's junk, sell it or trade it in on something else. They thought about going with a KIA but they went with the other.

Answer:
no

if you purchase a new Kia Optima

or a Hyundai they are much superior vehicles

for $4,000

look for

98 Acura CL, 98 Ford Mustang V6, 98 Honda Accord or Civic, 98 Nissan Frontier or Pathfinder, 98 Subaru Impreza or Legacy, 98 -00 Toyota Corolla or Echo 00

these are all reliable and will last longer than other vehicles in this price range.

for around $6k an Acura Integra 98-99 is a great automobile.

Answer:
REALLY??? a kia spectra. sorry NO. The koreans cannot build a car. If it were BRAND new and you have the luxury of a 100k mile warranty and had no intention of keeping the automobile that long then ok maybe!! But to buy a used spectra for 4000 when a brand spanking new one is less than 10k why would you?

Answer:
What year is it? I had a 2004 and it was a great automobile. Older ones aren't so great though.

Answer:
they are only good if they are new
