A saab 9-5 in Aero form will out run a 1998-2002 Porsche 911 4s turbo in the range of 40mph through 80mph. If the styling is your cup of tea, the performance is awesome.

Saab 9-3's are smaller and also worthy of consideration.

Saabs seem to depreciate with vengeance despite being well built, swift, and very, very safe rides. I am quite taken with 9-5s because the trade off in absolute sporting performance vs the 9-3 is worth the comfort for me and my passengers. Also for how simple the back seat is “to use”. If you’ve a drive in in your area the fold flat seats in back and relatively high trunk line make viewing out of the back easy and not almost as potentially treacherous as other automobiles I've tried this in.

My 2001 3.0L v6 turbo with a cold air intake arm and moderately revised exhaust hits 130mph iat 0.5 mile with 3/4s of the length (start to leveled off)being downhill at 4% decline.
