Okay so I'm seriously thinking of purchasing a vehicle. I've shopped around and found these to be somewhat of my liking.
2008 NISMO 350Z - $38,680
2009 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT - $24,000
2008 Scion tc - $17,000
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO GSR - $33,000
2009 Subaru Impreza WRX - $25,000
My least fav. would be the WRX and EVO, everyone and their moms got one in my area. I'm actually think of the NISMO 350Z. I've got great credit for my age group, got at least 7g saved but I plan on saving a a few more bucks. I just want to know other contributing factors from other import automobile tuners. Any info is good info, unless it is absolutely inane. Info on moded parts and ideas are more than welcomed here. Thanks So Much!!!!

here's my take on each car:
350Z - hella fast, sick, slick vehicle, even without mods. but recent nissan models don't age very well, and no matter how nice it looks and drives now, it's still a huge question how this will be 10 years down the road.
Eclipse - pretty cool, engine displacement is almost twice of what it used to be (2.0L before, 3.8L now). front wheel drive means it's not much fun, plus it's getting a tiny flabby (overweight).
tC - i don't know much about Scions because there aren't any in this country, but i know it's a Toyota brand, which is a good thing. they also used to make real sweet tuner cars, and i'm pretty sure this isn't an exception. based on what i've seen on the net, it's a refreshing change from the default civic for tuners.
EVO - well, its name states it all. still one of the best performance automobiles around, though it doesn't look very cool with 4 doors. lots of 'em to go around doesn't help.
Impreza - pretty much the same input as the EVO, only this is cheaper.
my recommendation: tC, for value-for-money and parts available. but you might also wanna take a look at the new Civic Si coupe, with nearly 200hp off the dealership. these are also the only cars that i'd advocate given the state of your wallet. =P 7G ain't a lot, man.

If you have 7 grand you would be a fool to go into debt to buy a costly automobile and pay insurance out you butt. You can get a great vehicle under 50 thousand dollars for 7 grand if you look in the paper each sat and sun being the first to look meaning 5:00 in the morning. dont be super anxious and take your time and find the perfect automobile,I bought a toyota maxim for 5 grand with 40 thousand miles but it took me a month looking at 5 oclock each weekend but it was worth it,don't get caught up in major taxes and 3000 a year insurance, buy with cash and bypass all that crap Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
