That would be way too much trouble. The car sub would not sound good in your room because there is too much air to move around. You would be best off just buying a surround sound system with a subwoofer. I have heard some that will put out some pretty good bass.

you need a ac to dc converter, and then you can hook up a car amp and your sub to that, its more complicated but thats basicly it..

You would have to buy a continous duty 12 Volt power supply, that would cost over $400.

Also car subs wouldn't sound good in houses, they are designed for a car.

Your best and cheapest way to get a sub in your house is to buy a sound system that has one.
