soon to invest in decent 6.5" for doors

when purchasing the 6.5" should i match any watts/ohms etc with the kappas that i have?

please suggest an amp for the speakers and step-wise tips/sites/info and vids if possible on how to properly install the amp

I will be highly grateful!

Answer:
Yes you should match the front speakers watts and ohms with the 6×8s.. If you are planning on using a 4 channel amp to power all your speakers.. Which i recommend. Then you will want the same watts and ohms to match in all the speakers. If you could find the same model of your 6×8s just in the 6 1/2 size that would be the best to match them up i think. I just looked up your speakers and i noticed they are 2 ohm not 4 ohm which is kinda weird. An infinity amp that would be good for the speakers is this one but its kina spendy. http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/I… This would power them great assuming your gona get some front speakers that can handle the power.

Here is a video to help you install from crutchfield. Make sure you right click and put "save as"

This a good site to look for stuff for your car. They also have videos for installing your subs and head unit and lots of help.

Here are 4 channel amps you may want to look at. Profile is a cheap one. I dont know how good of quality it is tho. Maybe someone else can say if its decent or not.
