I want loud but not extreme in my navigator. So will an Alpine MRP-M500 run my 12W3s good. I dont know anything about Ohms and all that. I was told this is a good amp and to check it out. Any help would be great.

First thing i'd like to mention is that ….. your amplifier is a 500 watt peak amp…and only runs 250 watts of clean RMS or constant power out of it….. and your jl subwoofers are made for up to 500 watts rms or continuous for each woofer…. so your woofers..could handle 1000 watts of continuous power..where your amplifier is designed for 250 watts consant???? see what i mean…that amplifier is way underpowering for you woofers….. if you let me know what the woofers state the ohm rating is for these subwoofers each..i can tell you what choice of amplifiers would work the best with your woofers…..if you’ve anymore questions about this at all please feel free to email me..or im available on yahoo instant messenger… i will answer any questions you might have asap….again please let me know…. im sorry if ive offended..but the amp is very weak for the woofers you’ve….thanks
