It really depends on what you're going for. Obviously sounds like you want a sporty car though. The honda civic is easy to upgrade and the most reliable, and the RSX is pretty much the same car made by the same company with a bigger engine and better weight distribution.

I would go with the RX-8 though, those cars are DAMN SEXY. The rotary engine and the 50/50 weight distribution makes it A TON of fun to drive. Make sure you get the manual transmission. The auto is kind of a waste of good engineering with Mazda's shabby torque converter. The only maintainance concern is that the engine sometimes floods when you have higher mileage on it, but that's just the design of the Rensis rotary.

out of the honda and the rsx the Acura is a better vehicle in power and resale value…. the RX8 is on a different playing field since its a real sports car… if you are not used to high maintenance repairs dont buy the RX8 they also have problems with seals but it seems a company has figured out how to get longer life out of the motor

i'd say the rsx type-s if u could find one cause it has that sweet 4 banger that pumps out 210hp and is pretty sikk styling. you also would not go wrong with the civic si if u could afford one. try not to get a rx-8 even though it mite drive well, in the long run, u'll be paying a lot on keep ups.

Go with RSX-S because the is the most powerful four cylinder ever made by man. If you go with the RX8, be prepared to visit the dealership for every little thing that you'll ever need for that 1.3L rotary engine. That includes after the warranty is expired.

the last model year for the acura rsx was the 2006-so no 2007-so I would say the 2007 Honda civic si (almost the same thing as the rsx)
