They DONT make this exhaust for for the '05 TL, so would I be able to fit the Greddy Evo II that fits an '04-'05 Accord Coupe?

Maybe need to add an extension pipe?? HELP ME!!

Answer:
I just installed a Greddy Evo II on my '06 TL AT. Greddy DOES actually make an exhaust for the '04 - '08 TL.

This upgrade just became available due to a group buy arrangement between ~ 60 members of the ACURAZINE website, and Greddy…I was part of that group buy. The first units shipped during December '07. Greddy now makes the product available through their distributors for around $950.

The part fits ALL Gen3 TLs, with the exception of the Type S models. You can visit the ACURAZINE site to peruse for discussions of owners of Type S models…I believe there is a relatively easy mod to adapt it.

The Evo II that's now available comes as an easly bolt-on…takes a pro a few minutes to install. Also, the unit reflects the following improvements over the stock exhaust:

- all stainless steel

- Large 2.5" diameter pipe, up from 2.25" diameter stock

- elimination of resonator & elimination of the mid-muffler

- strait-thru flowing mufflers

- wicked sounding low rumble (that & AEM CAI makes the J32 engine sound so sweet)

- looks sharp once installed…from a distance rear end looks like a cross between a TL & a G35

Greddy estimates (dyno pending) gains of at least 10 whp over stock. By comparison, the COMPTECH catback was good for ~ 7.5 whp gains (and had a resonator).

I was (along with several other buyers of this product) somewhat dismayed at the internal cabin noise (resonance/drone) @ ~ 2K - 3K rpm range. I will admit that the drone has become less of a nuisance…probably due to carbon buildup coating the pipes. I bought a FLOWMASTER 'Hushpower-2', mid-muffler/resonator, but never installed it. Frankly, I did not want to give up the noticable horsepower gains from the Greddy exhaust. This mod AEM's CAI Outlaw Engineering's thermoblock spacers bring the performance of a NA, AT version up near that of the Type S.

Answer:
There are no issues installing the Evo 2 to a TL with MT…you'll simply get more whp than with the AT models. Have fun! Report It
