It only happens in the morning and only lasts about 10 seconds. The automobile has reccently had the head gasket changed due to an oil leak. When it was changed it was initialy botched oil in the water etc etc and then fixed “properly”.Is this anything to worry about as its intermitant

Answer:
/ White smoke usually means too much oil.

It will eventually stop blowing the white smoke altogether.

There might also be some excess oil on the outside of the engine which smokes when hot.

You could either drain a little from the oilpain, or just drive quickly when starting from a dead stop, which is called, “blowing it out.” This eliminates any excess oil (and on) the engine.

Your automobile will be fine after 50 miles or so.
