Twice this day I’ve gone to my car and drove, but when i put my clutch in or come to a stop. My engine cuts out.
After about 6 miles, everthing is ok.
Anybody know why this is happening?
I dont know if this is related but later tonight, my exhaust started to sound slightly worse. Dont know if this could be related.

I know it sounds like a stereotype, but it's an Alfa. Apparently, the trouble-free good bits inbetween breakdown and failure make up for it.

2 things come to mind one is possibly the electronics that control the warm up procedure and the other is and this one sounds more likely by how u explain about ur exhaust note getting worse , ur head gasket maybe going . when cold it might be leaking but as it gets warm and metal expands it closing the leak . i'd sugest u get a compression check on ur cylinders as it realy does sound like a head gasket . is the exhaust sound like a more lumpy popping rumbly sound ??? very uneaven when cold ???
Answer:
Tick over speed isn’t fast enough or your timing could be out slightly.
Answer:
because the engine is a huge piece of metal that needs to heat up? Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
