i been looking around for a decent turbo kit and i found one that has a t3/t4 turbo, intercooler and piping and a wastegate, boost control, turbo timer, and all the oil lines. would this kit be worth it to put into my 140 hp 1.8L 318is? i need some second thoughts.

Answer:
No. You've got a great handling vehicle with a very efficient engine. If you need more power, find a 325is or make it into one yourself. A used engine/transmission will wake it up nicely and you don't have to worry about making lots of custom parts. You could even look for a used M3 engine/trans. With today's gas prices, I'd keep your 1.8 and enjoy the handling.

Answer:
this Must be the E36-318is with 4 cylinders right.

Is best u get 2.0i or 2.3i engine for this automobile.then u will enjoy using it.

This automobile requires 175hp to drive in comfort/power

Your turbo might damage the engine in long run.

think over and change a engine.that’ll be wise.

or sell it and purchase E36 or E 46 323i
