The actual oil type is listed on the label affixed to the manual transmission itself.
And there are various colored labels, or no label (which is a type of label for BMW), that signifies what oil to use.
Take a look at the actual tranny, if you are not satisfied with the info you see, then re-post the color of the label.

check the owners manual
or www.castrol.com, but being european it might be some super rare oil.
