I haven't owned my own automobile yet, so this would be my first vehicle or truck that I will own ever. I want a 03-04 Tahoe because I have always loved Massive SUV's for a long time especially Chevrolet's. Also I’m tall (6'4) and they’re real room and comfortable.. My 2nd choice is the 06-07 Impala LT because it is cheap and they’re roomy as well.. And my last choice is the 2005 toyota 4 runner because I have heard real good things about them.. So can someone give me a detail review on all 3 of these automobiles from reliability, maintainance , and just everything.. Thanks
Answer:
My first choice in the groupe would be the tahoe. My silverado is a lot like the tahoe with the same motor (i think so) and and a lot of the same parts. My silverado is reliabile and i have not heard any thing negative about the tahoe. But with gas as high as it is you need to consider the impala since the tahoe will get bad mpg
i dont know much about toyota because i am a chevy person but toyota would be the last thing i would ever buy.
with good maintainance the tahoe will just as good if not better than the toyota and just as capable as the toyota
Answer:
stay away from the tahoe. I’ve a suburvan and its a gas guzzler. Nice big SUV but unneccesary if you ask me. Impala's are good cars, you cant go wrong. But I strongly recommend the 4runner. Toyota is very reliable and they make excellent cars for a not so high price. You wont be taking that vehicle to the shop anytime soon.
Answer:
You're better off with the Toyota product on reliability.
The Impala isn’t really an SUV and can't compare with the other two. The Impala is actually a reasonably good car with an excellent drive train.
Answer:
TOYOTA easily, much for reliable and safe, eats not much gas(save $$$) and easy to maintain
Answer:
The Toyota 4runner is easily the ideal designed car of the 3.
Answer:
How are you going to afford the gas in those guzzlers?
Answer:
You should get the 06-07 impala ,you want to save money

I own a 1995 Toyota 4Runner, a 1993 Chevy S10 and a 90 Toyota Pickup. Each Toyota has in excess of 150k and are all original right down to the freon in the A/C. The Chevy has been recharged so many times I can't remember, plus new evaporators, fan motors, fan switches. A transmission rebuild, 3 O2 sensors, 1 EGR, 2 new door handles, electric windows I've given up on, a bad radiator, belts, hoses etc., and it only has a tiny more than 100K. I hope this information helps. Good Luck.
