What all has been checked on it?

Answer:
The coil would be the first thing to check. Also check to be sure your distributor wire to the coil is intact, and making good connection. Check the primary (12V) wires going to the coil as well to make sure they aren't broken or disconnected.

If these are fairly new spark plug wires, check them anyway. I am hearing that some of the off-brand wires fail in 6-12 months- actually burning at the crimped connection. Stay with Autolite or Belden brands.

Also, check to be sure your rotor is ok. Maybe it is severely worn. Check your cap while you're at it.

Again, check your ASD relay (mentioned in a response to your last question). It is either on the fender (near strut mount) or on the firewall.
