To the other answerers.

If the belt was slipping past the water pump then the engine would be destroyed as the valves and pistons came crashing together!

And fords are known as:

F-ix

O-r

R-epair

D-aily

I’m assuming that you don't have an overheating problem.

If your vehicle was really overheating then the fans wouldn’t be slicing in, your water would be boiling, and by now this would have warped you cylinder head and blown the head gasket.

If your water pump wasn't working like that super smart ford guy reckons then you wouldn’t have a circulation of water and so you would not be able to bleed it properly.

If you can see the temperature guage climb and then the fans come on and the temp drops again, this isn’t overheating, this is your car working correctly to prevent overheating.

If your car is still definately overheating (water boils) then you had better explain how you checked the head gasket, thermostat and bled the system so that i know you did it right, theres no point looking further until we have the ability to rule out possible mistakes.

Answer:
Hi, Alisha. Hmmm, have you checked the belt tension and condition? If it's slipping, it can disable the water pump from doing it's job effectively. Also, check the water pump condition itself.

If your head gasket is okay, perhaps your engine isn't actually overheating, but you’ve a faulty coolant sensor?

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful - cars can be a pain in the backside sometime :-)
