just braught fiat punto sporting speedo works but not properly changed the speedo and same fault but computer flashes all the time now someone told me its the wheel speed sensor drivers side will this cure it and how do i stop the comp from flashing do i have to reset it someway?

Sorry - no answer for you but I have EXACTLY the same problem it seems. Just purchased an active '5million' for the wife and the trip computer flashes on and off continuosly plus the speedo under reads by about a third. ( At idle the speedo needle drops right down to the bottom - off the register - so maybe the needle needs sorting out in my case)
I'm planning a diagnostic check this week but some one has told me that if the vehicle has been jump started it can kick out the ecu (altghough I’m not getting any ecu fault lights showing - touch wood!). I’ve also been told that disconnecting the battery for 24hours and then reconnecting can reset it, but Fiat don't seem to admit to having any reset procedure -strange.
The trip personal seems to be functioning normally other than the flashing.
If I get any where I'll let you know so good luck. Have you had any joy yet?
