i have just purchased a good bargain car from a friend in spain. the only big deal for me is its a right hand drive and trying to change it to the left. i dont know where to get a secondhand dashboard from in spain.does anyone know where and how much it normally cost?is it worth changing it all or just leave it as it is?

Answer:
You can't just “change the dashboard” - you'll need a left hand drive steering rack and column, the pedals will have to be moved to the other side, the wiring loom probably won't match up with the dash, the wipers will be wiping towards the wrong side of the screen, you might find that the brake servo is located where you need to put the steering column, etc., etc., etc……….

In other words, you're loking at a massive amount of work.

This sort of conversion isn’t really feasible, particularly on such an affordable vehicle. Either put up with the disadvantages of having a RHD vehicle, or trade it for a LHD.
There are plenty of dealers in Spain who buy RHD cars.

Answer:
if its spanish registered leave it as it is its not worth the effort. if its not spanish reg then get that done it costs about a 1000 eruos or just drive it until its confiscated by the police
