i was wondering if you could fit a turbocharger in a ltd
and if posible what type could fit???
Answer:
It is possible to fit a turbo to any engine. It might not hold up to it though. Turbocharging is a very complex subject. You will need to read and learn a big amount of info. If that car has the 5 liter engine and has the same heads and intake as a Mustang then you should be able to find the flow charactoristics of the engine. That combined with the flow cahractoristics of given turbochargers will give you a good match. Then you’ve to make sure that you give it enough fuel. I have seen someone do a garage job from scratch on a Mark VIII but it stretched all the head bolts the first time it made boost. The project snow balled from there.
Answer:
I saw a 5.0 Mustang with a twin turbo system that was hidden out of site, what a awesome machine! This could be adapted, but you would have to rebuild your engine first with low compression turbo pistons…
