54k miles, great exterior along with interior. Four thousand dollars. I thought it was a good deal, what do you think? Know anything about them? Problems, etc..? Thanks.
Answer:
They are notorious for head gasket leaks which are arguably non-serviceable and would result in an engine replacement. Oil pan leaks are common and are an high-priced repair as the transmission must be removed, also common in the P0401 code for the TCC solenoid which results in a transmission teardown.
They’re beautiful vehicles and wonderful to drive, but suck to work on and pricey to mend. I think you got a pretty good deal. Change the coolant and trans fluid.
