the year is 98 and it will be my first vehicle..im going to check it out with my father on saturday but any experiences with this vehicle would be appreciated

Actually, regarding the fact that it'll b ur first car, I think it's a great idea to get a second hand vehicle. The Hyundai accent might not b the top notch luxurious automobile, but it definately is a very practical and useful vehicle. Especially that it's a 98 model.

Even though I totally support people buying a new Hyundai, that late-90s generation of Hyundais were still pretty iffy. It will, however, be miles superior than anything American (Chevy, Ford, the like). It's not a bad choice, but ideally for a first automobile, something along the lines of a Honda Civic, Subaru Impreza, or Toyota Corolla is a better choice.
