My brother, my dad, and my brother and i have our heart set on a jeep. it would be a super fun car, we also happen to have a gravel driveway, on a hill. so we cant convince any plows to plow our driveway! so if we got a jeep we could attach a plow and plow our own driveway! we could also remove the top, and make it hard in the winter. we also want a white,1997 and we found one and its perfect! its only 6000 dollars, 70000 miles, and its such a great boy/girl automobile so the whole family would liek it.
BUT my mother thinks they break down to much? is that true?
form people who drive them, do you like them? do they break down a lot? fun to drive? opinions??
mother wants a toyota rava. GAG. butis it a superior car? honestly?
Answer:
get the jeep you wont regret it, dont get a rav 4 those things are crap, they always break down, no power at all, and most of all they look gay… 70000 miles the jeep isnt even broke in yet, ive had my 94 wrangler for 8 years now , had many, many many , hard miles put on it and its still running strong. also this is my 3rd jeep (had to sell the last one because ex-wife didnt like it)
Answer:
I have a 97 jeep. 4 cyl. 5 speed. I haven't had any trouble with it. They are fun with the top off & easy enough to put on a plow & remove it when snow is gone. That toyota would look crazy with a plow on it. If your trying to sell your mom on getting a jeep, you need to compare pro's & kahn's of BOTH automobiles. Good Luck!
Answer:
Jeep wranglers can get up to 400 miles to the tank. I got one, dude they’re the most fun car/truck you will ever come across! the “jeep wave” is everyone who has a jeep wrangler waves to each other. get a jeep and jack it up!
by the way your mom is wrong they barley ever break down.
go out and get it.
Answer:
I have friends who have autos and no problems from them. all wranglers I have owed 3 no trouble or big trouble I'd state as far as transmissions go and cherokee was sweet. Get her in an unlimited or a 4 door which I currently own and she'll love it.
Answer:
i have a 97 with 135k miles on it auto trans with no problems. little breaks but nothing that ever cost a lot of money. i suggest a stick but the autos aren't as bad as people think and do not get a toyota ever ever ever ever
Answer:
yeah if its a inline six those engines are strong. but as long as its a standard tranny, cause unfortunatly the chryslers automatic trannys suck.
Answer:

jeeps have their tiny quirks, but nothing major. and yes, chrysler auto transmissions do break.
Answer:
we also have a steep driveway i use my bosses dump truck to plow i dont think a jeep wrangler would be good for plowing cause its light. we about totaled our wrangler in the winter time on our driveway and our jeep had a 3in lift and 32in tires and thank god we were able to stop. but if your driveway is a tiny steep and you find a jeep with a 6cyl you could weigh it down for when you plow but for the summer time they’re great i have a cj5 and its nice to take the top off and go for a drive with the g/f. almost all older jeeps are are very good and reliable my friends parents had a jeep unlimited and they love it no problems. if you can find one in a manual that will save on gas and gives you something to do when you drive they are a fun vehicle all around. in my family i was the first to get something other than a jeep (two dodges) and my family has a a lot of good jeeps and but in addition to my two dodges i have a 04 grandcherokee and it is a great jeep Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
