Is a Lancia more than a badge engineered FIAT?

Over the years there has been considerable co-operation between Fiat and Lancia in some models.
rnnSome Lancia's had twin cam engines that were Fiat designed.
rnnHowever for the most part , Lancia's don't share too many common parts with Fiat.

rnnIt should be noted that in many countries manufacturers might outsource parts manufacturing from a company that’ll make the same part for a rival make.

rnnSo don't be surprised when you see Fiat (or Fiat produced ) parts in an Italian Lancia.

Yeah I think they are. They use a similar system as Volkswagen with different brands within the group sharing common platforms and maechanicals but having their own styling internally and externally.
