Lexus RX 300?

hey i was just wondering, im in high school and am gonna turn 16 in a few months and once I get my license, i think my parents are just gonna give me there Lexus RX 300. Is this a good car for a teenager? ALSO a lot of people state that this is a girls automobile, is this true? I don't believe them, and don;t really care.

If you mean a 'girl's car', that females tend to own them more than males, yes. Over 70% of RXs are driven by females, and older, family-oriented females in general. Also as a first vehicle, I'd recommend a compact or mid-sized sedan versus a entry-luxury SUV mainly because it'll tend to be more pricey to maintain and repair. It has relatively worse fuel economy. Also it is massive with blind spots that a sedan wont have. There is also a good chance that you will wreck it due to inexperience. I'd suggest a Camry or a Corolla.

A rx300 hundred is a perfectly fine car for a teen. just don't treat it like sh!t. it can be a little girly, but still a nice car that keeps it value

Unfortunately, this isn’t a good vehicle for a teenager. It's kinda huge for a first car. It's hard to see out the back. You need back up sensors for it.
