I’m getting a check engine light on my vehicle and I need to pul the codes, but I cant find the port. I bought the Actron code scanner (CP9015) from AutoZone but I dont know where to plug it into. I found the “SUSP/EVO” port which is on the passenger side firewall, but I cant find the ECC port. I know there should be a port that plugs into the scanner and then another single connector that plugs into the scanner too but I just cant find them. If anyone can help that would be great!

I believe that there is a port under the steering column, but not 100% sure. I’ve a 98 Mark VIII, but I always bring it to my friend who is a mechanic when there’s a problem. You can always go back to AutoZone and ask them, or become a member of this website and post it in the forums, they’re very very helpful:
