How do I disable the traction control on my 97 Mark VIII?

Answer:
First, check your owner's manual to see if there is a button to turn it off (most cars do). If there is no button, there should be a fuse in the fuse box for the traction control that you can remove to disable it.

Answer:
Disconnect the hot wire at the ABS module.

Answer:
i can't remember right off hand but there is either a switch which i assume there isn't since you are asking I know the older ones had a button on the console but 97 and 98 have a different arrangement on the console and you may have to go through the message center and turn it off. Your owners manual will tell you how to do that.

Answer:
ABS and traction control works together you disable one ,,both will not work

yap just remove one brake sensor and ABS will light and no more ABS and traction control

but why?????
