hi. i am looking to buy one of those two cars. both 08, and both fully loaded. im totally on the fence here. I am used to a bigger more powerful car (crown vic, interceptor) so the mkz will have to take a little bit to get used too. I have driven both, and like how each drive. Opinions/suggestions? Thanks so much!
Answer:
I was in the same situation two months ago. Went with the Lincoln because the seats were more comfortable and more upscale interior. I didn't get the sunroof because it eats up about 2 inches of headroom. Both are good handling cars (Far better than the RWD Crown Vic/Towncar.) built to very good (for american cars) quality standards. Both are powerful enough for all purposes.
Too bad the o'side mirrors don't tilt when in reverse like my old Continental!!
Pick whichever looks the way you prefer!! My MKZ gets over 25 mpg on the hi way/19 in suburban driving. Runs fine in snow (FWD) . I wanted AWD but didn't have one equipped like I wanted and didn't want to wait months for custom order!!
Answer:
well I don't Normally Lick things but I would go with a Mkz
Answer:
Both great sedans. I don't know which one i would choose, so just go with what you think will be the best for you.
Answer:
pray the water pump doesn't go out, usually it won't, just a big job to change
Answer:
Just so you are aware, both of these cars are built in Mexico which could generate major quality issues. Consider a Town Car, a true classic, with great deals and still built in the USA.
