Actually, Both are in different categories. Scorpio is Start / Mid-Size MUV or as some like to call, an SUV (around 10lacs). Whereas a Suzuki Vitara is a CrossOver SUV (around 15lacs).
Now like any two different segment cars, the higher segment one has better engine performance, comfort, power and lower one is be cheaper to buy.
The Scorpio mainly has Safari as a competitor and maybe Innova, Fusion if you can go to MUV/Hatchback range.
The Vitara has Honda CRV, Hyundai Tucson, Chevy Captiva as main competitors.

to me personally i like scorpio better.only bad thing about scorpio is it tilts to the side on sharp turns .maybe a little hard suspention would do the trick.
