Answer:
Mahindra Bolero is too rugged to be a good SUV. If you don't mind the tractor-like engine and minimally ergonomic interiors you can definitely think of the Bolero as a good and economic SUV. I personally think it is junk!
Mahindra Scorpio is more Soft roader than Off roader. It has great street presence and a very comfortable ride. The new m-HAWK engine is an absolute delight and can power the Scorpio like a bullet. Still, Quality is not really up to industry standards and it has serious limitations off-road thanks to a very top heavy stance. It is a flashy SUV suited for urban conditions only. Period!
The Tata Safari Dicor is a true blue SUV right down to the Ladder chasis. There is considerable body roll but still the car is amazingly capable off-road. It can't beat a Mahindra Jeep for Go-anywhere capability but still is not far behind. The new 2.2 litre DiCOR engine is really powerful and though the car does feel a tad underpowered on the highway it is good enough for our conditions. Quality is very Tata like - Bad! But it is a gargantuan behemoth and can seat any number of people in comfort! Very smooth ride and handling. The gearbox makes sure your workout sessions are well rewarded but I believe the new DiCOR has sorted it out. My choice is undoubtedly the Safari for an SUV.

The new Mhawk series is the best in this range and category
Answer:
All the 3 SUVs are good but each solve a different purpose:
Tata Safari Dicor:
-A good soft roader,ie,not suited for typical off roads like the ones we come across in most rural areas.
-Most comfortable of the lot
-Least reliable as well
-Tacky build quality(even though it comes with a sophisticated engine).
-Servicing the car's headache, parts are costly.
Mahindra Scorpio:
-First thing you will notice that this thing behaves like a normal car than a truck(like the rest)
-Its quieter than the Dicor
-its comfortable on the roads with a proper surface(and also on ones that don't have a proper surface)
-Lovely suspension setup(Done by Lotus Engineering,British race car company),not too soft nor too stiff.
-the faster you go over bumps the lesser u feel them
-gives a better mileage than both the mentioned vehicles.
-parts are reasonably priced for the lower versions.
-servicing is an ease can be done at any mahindra servicing station in India.
-If I was in your position I would have bought this one.
The Mahindra Bolero:
-The most practical UV(mind you not an SUV).
-cheap,frugal in fuel and spare parts,
-Durable and tough make, can take up anything you throw at in snow, mountaineous terrain, slush and mud….name it this thing can tackle it with an ease
-not at all comfortable.(Though some versions got AC& power steering).
-the rear leaf springs are a killer, they can rattle every bone in ur body.
-This is like the maruti 800 of this lot.

Answer:
Mahindra Bolero. It is very fuel efficient, easy to repair, spares are cheaper, tough, priced well and recent facelift looks fresh. Yes, if you are serious about comfort, definitely you have to pay more, as scorpio and safari. Finally compare the price of (Go for Bolero Power Steering and A/C only, avoid power windows and central locking.) Bolero, then decide.
