I have a 2001 Mazda B3000 Dual Sport pickup. Everything in it is stock, including the speakers. As of recently, there has been a loud ringing sound from somewhere inside the cab, within twenty minutes of the car running. And it's gotten louder. I originally thought it was my ears (I like to blare my music), but it turns out others can hear it too. And they comment on it. So I thought it was the speakers. But it's not, for two reasons: One: My speakers are not blown out. They work fine. Two: the noise keeps ringing even when I’ve the speakers off. So I spent some time listening in my truck for the source, and it's coming from under the center of the dashboard, under the radio. My uncle Jeff did the same thing and said it was just air rushing through something, but I'm not so sure. I think it could be the cigarette lighter. (That's where the ringing is loudest)
Anyone have a suggestion as to what's causing it?
Answer:
You might need to repolarize the flux-capacitor to the correct frequency, and tune it to 1.21GW.
