Answer:
Is it a 323, 626 or what? That sounds like a very solid, reliable vehicle, you should hang onto it! You're bound to get to 200,000 miles with few issues, just take good care of it.

My 1987 RX7 has 95,000 miles on it and it's the best vehicle I've ever had. Chances are that I'll be able to get it up to 300,000 miles before it'll need any major attention. Sure, it's 21 years old now and isn't the flashiest vehicle on the road, but it's reliable, simple to diagnose and work on (rotary engines can be a pain, but are extraordinary if you’re patient and willing to learn). Plus, it sure puts the flashy POS new vehicles to shame, especially when cornering. And ideal of all, it'll outlive most anything on the road because of its ingenious design.

My grandpa had a 1974 RX4 (same engine as my RX7) and just sold it with 375,000 miles on it, never replaced/rebuilt anything on it. The body was rusted to h*** and back, but it ran like the day he purchased it, started up the first time each time and ran care about it did in 1974 when he purchased it new. He took care of it really well too, which is the mandatory rule for rotaries. In short, what you put into your car is what you'll get out of it.

Answer:
It depends on how sound the body is.

Lets face it, it your 98 Mazda stays together you might be able to afford several newer automobiles if you just take what you can afford to pay in vehicle payments and just put it in the bank (for when it dies).

Answer:
That’s absolutely up to you. Does it run good? Are you fatigued of it? Do you want a Automobile payment? Good luck with your decision.
