Mazda 3 stock sound system?

On the i models, how is the stock sound system?

Good bass, volume?

And can it be upgradable for a fair price?

I don't know if the stock stereo is Bose. I can talk to the Bose stereo in the 3. The door speakers could be upgraded to Boston Acoustic speakers 5 by 9 this will make a world of difference, a very clear, very noticeable difference. I would suggest changing out the door speakers before dumping the time and money into a entirely new sound system. As far as good bass and volume, frankly it depends on your age and the type of music you listen to and at what level. I would say that if you’re driving with the windows down on the freeway it is sufficient. The pieces and parts can be upgraded into a formidable system if you choose wisely, not all stock sound system pieces are “junk”.

i have a mazda and the sound sucks…i had to go buy a radio thingy…terrible bass…
