does anyone know if Mazda makes a Miata that’s NOT a stick shift?
Answer:
Yes, they make them.
BUT since the Miata has one of the ideal manual transmissions out there I would HIGHLY suggest learning how to drive stick.
Part of the fun & pleasure of driving a Miata is rowing through the gears with their stick shift. That's why so many of them are manual. Automatic transmission models are hard to find.
Answer:
Yes, from the very first. The automatic ones are considered rare, but by many undesirable.
The first automatics had four speeds, and now there’s a six speed automatic also.
You should be able to get one for a less then a stick version. At E-bay Motors they seem to not even be bid on.
You can check the inventory for dealers in your area using the Mazda site.
Answer:
OMG! THAT is my dream automobile! Are you thinking of getting one?
I don't know the answer to that question, as I was wondering the same thing, but I just had to comment…
Answer:
Yes, I believe the Miata MX-5 has an option 6-Speed automatic.
Answer:
Sure, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a real sports vehicle.
Answer:

About 35% of them made are automatic.
