More details are needed. There are several reasons why your fuel mileage could be that low. Is the check engine light on? What are your driving habits like? Has the mileage always been that bad or did it just happen?

There are not that many things that could cause this.#1 engine running way too rich or fuel pressure regulator is allowing way to much fuel to go through engine (check engine light will be on).#2 gasoline is leaking from somewhere (you're gonna smell gasoline strongly).#3 you’re not computing your miles per gallon properly ( no offense but if #1 or #2 don't apply….re-calculate your mpg.
