when my car in down it starts to leaj oil but when i rise it on the stilts it doesn't leak. can't find whats wrong help. i think the oil must be shifting but either way i can't find out where its coming from

Answer:
could be anything, bad seal, loose filter, loose drain plug. if it leaks with the fron pointing down back it up onto some ramps and the get under it to look where the leak is.

Answer:
You don't say what year and model, so it's hard to guess.

It's very common for the transmission electrical connector to leak on all Mercedes models from the late 1990's and later. The parts are cheap and it doesn't take long to repair, but you should get it checked out right away to see what's leaking. It could be power steering or hydraulic suspension…….major engine oil leaks are very rare on newer models (unless you’ve your oil changes done at JiffyLube!).

Answer:
my bf had the same problem.

there was a loose screw or something so check if everything is sealed/screwed tight before you take it to the dealership where they will charge you like $100 an hour just to LOOK at it….

hope that helped
