Im a teen boy, my grandparents just gave me their mercedes 300 td from 1985. the colour currently is yellow. What colour do you think i should get it painted, and what kind of rims should i put on it?

Please keep with Mercedes paint,and not over 16″ rims.The more you keep the automobile close to stock the more its worth.
tirerack is the only company that will match rims with lug bolts(VERY IMPORTANT,or brake damage will happen at rear).

A proper paint job will run you into the thousands. A decent set of rims with tires will also cost you quite a bit of money.
It's up to you but I would keep it stock.
