I want to install 44lb/hr fuel injectors in to my stock 1992 Grand Marquis thanks
Answer:
And what do you hope to achieve with this?
By just replacing the injectors, nothing will happen. Your car's ecu won’t care about the difference, and will flow the same amount of fuel that it always does. If anything else, it might flow too much, causing a rich air mixture, which will just burn more gas. It will not make your car more powerful, just cost more in fuel.
Or, you could get the ecu replaced or remapped. But with just replacing the injectors, all you can hope to do, is increase the fuel. You'd need a new intake, and other things, to increase the air flow as well. At which point, you're looking at a big investment, on a ridiculously slow automobile.
