go to the dealer or call give them your vin and they should be able to cut a new key for you and get you a new key fob, they might need the car to program the key fob so you will have to set up a time with there service dept. to have that done……. i forgot , if the key dosn't have a comp. chip in it you can get a key made at any lock smith but most cars now have the chip

If it was your only key, take the title for the car to the closest Mitsubishi dealer, they can cut a new key for the car using the VIN number. You will have to pay for reprogramming the key. The remote can be ordered and purchased also. Keep in mind that the same computer is used to program both the key and remotes. It will cost less to do them all at the same time. You will need all keys and remotes when they program them because the new programming has to be done with all the keys and all the remotes at the same time.

It does depend on the year model. My 3000 does not have a chip. I bought a blank key on EBay for $4 and they cut it at Home Depot (the HD guy did not charge for the cut because he said that I did not buy anything - ?). If it is a newer computer chip key, you are in for big bucks and probably through the dealer.
