I know that you get a choice between them, but on the site: http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/jsp/b…
it states five speed manual or six step CVT — and the paddle shifters (which would be sweet!)
Answer:
You get one or the other, not both.
WIth the manual, you have to use the clutch and shift on your own. With the CVT, you can leave it in auto mode and drive it like an automatic, or you can shift using the paddle shifters if you want to. There’s no clutch in a CVT equipped vehicle.
