Ok i need to charge my ac in my 01 nissan altima gxe. The problem is im kind of unsure where to start i have what i think all the stuff to do it.
The problem is i have two ac hoses (im assuming high and low pressure) i don't know which is which.
One hose is on the far end under the hood by the passenger side. This hose is thicker (and pressure seems good on it). Then i have a smaller hose long the battery. Which is which? and what one do i charge?
Answer:
The bigger line is the low pressure and the smaller line is the high. You’ll need to put the system into a vacuum for at least 3 minutes. After that you can charge the system through the high pressure line with the engine off. You'll need to put in about 1.32 lbs of R134a refrigerant Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
