HEY THAT ENGINE IS HELL OF GOOD LOL… um i have an se-r 93 also and we jus did the swap it's a direct fit (diy) took two nights lol but when that baby was ready man i felt like havin sex it sounded that good lol.,. um spartarn does not know wat he is talkin bout the rb25 is for 4wd or rr in some cases and the se-r is fwd duhhh,.,.,.!!!! trust me good,fun swap gets about 200-220hp and that automobile is small and light you will feel it good swap man do it trust me,.,.';;'

Yeah I think its going to give you a good balance, 2.0l turbo wont change the weight ratio of your vehicle to much, however the power ratio Will change!!! LOL
I would advocate RB25 Nissan Skyline engine but that's going to be to big and to much engineering.

The SR20s are about as good as it gets for an easy swap. If you wanted the best engine you could probably put in an LS1 or something but performance isn't all about the engine. A SR20DE or SR20DET is about as far as I'd go in your shoes.
