I'm assuming that its a factory alarm system & the remote you have isn't the original unit. The dealer can program it in about 5 min. for you. Usually the main charge is the cost of the remote so they may or might not charge you to program it. When I sold my 00 Mazda Millenia I gave the remote to my sister who has a 97 millenia & the dealer programed it in about 5- 10 min., no charge. Call a dealership & ask.
Answer:
IF Its A New System, i dont get it.
if its a purchased system Like you bought it from circuit city or ideal buy then you should go to a best purchase or circuit city with installation garage, take it there and let them install it. even if you didnt buy it at ideal buy or circuit city. you couldve bought it on ebay and you could take it there and let them install it.
