to first gear. what tests can nissan do on the transmission? had the front end looked at by goodyear they stated it looked good as far as the cv joints, shocks and what ever they look at. thanks
Answer:
It is not uncommon to get a harsh down shift to low gear while slowing down around 18 miles an hour. 2006 Sentra needs to shift firmly down to first. What you describe is a normal condition and if you want to take time out of work drive on over it's Nissan customer care month. A technician might find brake work or other services your vehicle might need. Basically if the fluid is clean red and does not smell like it is burnt everything is ok. You didn’t include that your automobile has approx 60,000 miles on it? 2009 vehicles at your Nissan dealership now!
Answer:
sounds like you’ve a 2-1 down shift problem. Stop by a transmission shop and have them perform a free diagnostic. You could have a bad sensor or a broken spring in the valve body.
