I saw previous responses on a Similar Question and that was very useful in programing my Remote to my Automobile….. but I would like to know HOW to turn OFF the CHIRP when I push the Lock Button on my Remote. I tried Holding Lock and Unlock but it didn't work? Do I hold them at the same time? For how long…. I need specifics =) Thanks…
Answer:
Hold both the unlock and lock at the same time for approx 4 or 5 seconds you will see the 4 way flasher signals flash 3 times to confirm that you canceled the horn chirp to lock function. Hold those buttons down again to make it honk on lock again it will honk and signals flash 3 times .Other remote tricks if your vehicle has express down windows hold the unlock button and both the front windows will lower to let hot air out of your car while walking up to it in the summer.
