my friend has a salvage 350z and it's very clean and it has 32000 on it,
I saw the automobile when he purchased it, it was rear ended. he's asking 11,500 for it
Answer:
if it drives good and frame wasnt damaged you might be alright. i wouldnt pay more than 10k for that. good rule of thumb is salvage=half of market value although you rarely can buy them for that
Answer:
370 Z is out, 350Z should be a lot cheaper now. Try to look around at few local dealership, they really want to clean their lot for 370. lol As for $11,500 for 03 350Z with a salvaged tittle? lol what a rip off. I used to owned a salvaged tittle car, it was a hard time to sell it.
Answer:
Do NOT buy anything salvage. I was going to get a couple of grand for my Civic, but when the bank found out it was a salvage I got a token offer of $500.
If it is listed as salvage, you’ll get nothing for it if you try to sell it or trade it in.
Answer:
Just because it looks clean doesn't mean it's a good deal. Automobile accidents can really screw up steering and alignment. Its not always obvious if a automobile has these issues. And if you ever sell the vehicle the word SALVAGE will appear on the title.
Answer:
I just bought a 2005 touring roadster with a CLEAN title for $13,500.
