I presume you’re wondering about the Vauxhall / Opel thing?
In a nutshell, in the 1990's Opel dropped the Kadett name and took on the UK's Astra name. (Same vehicle you see)
In return, Vauxhall dropped the Cavalier name and took on the Vectra badge.
They did quite a bit of swapping and changing just to bridge the Vauxhall/Opel gap a tiny.
