where do i fill my gearbox oil on Opel Astra 1.6 2003 model?i don’t see any refill hole.the cart got incident then replace cv joint, then all the oil came out.
Answer:
Looking down from an open bonnet, there’s a silver/black conical screw type fitting near the clutch cable adjuster on the bellhousing. Immediately below this is a bleed screw. Top up through the (unscrewed conical) hole and untighten the bleed screw. When oil runs out from the bleed hole it has reached its level. Dependant on which Astra the top up hole may be sited differently.
