I’ve been using the guide at the garage for making my tyre pressures 32 on the front and 28 on the back but its for an Astra envoy or something like that. My exact model is 2004 Astra club 1.6 (like this one http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/co…
The tyre size I’ve is 185/65R15 T 88 (if that makes any difference). Is it the correct pressures I’ve been using?
Thanks
Answer:
hi i worked in a tyre and exhaust garage for about 4 years. i know most tyres have a precise pressure but that is normally between 26psi to about 34psi depending on the tyre etc. anyway in the garage trade we set all out tyres to 30psi (2bar) unless its a space saver then they are all set to 60 psi.
if you’re going to use the vehicle fully loaded or do a lot of motorway driving then increse the pressure to about 35psi.
Please make sure both front tyres are the same pressure though!

Answer:
About 30 all round sounds the norm. I put 34 front and 29 rear in mine. Book Mark it-> del.icio.us | Reddit | Slashdot | Digg | Facebook | Technorati | Google | StumbleUpon | Window Live | Tailrank | Furl | Netscape | Yahoo | BlinkList
